..Now before we go any further, you might want to hear for yourselve if this 'Tap Tone
Technology' really has anything to offer in the way of playing improvement. Here are two violins, both Italian and both from over one hundred years ago; both played well. The first is reputed to be a Guarnari Del Gesu violin from the Russian state collection and the second is a violin I was commissioned to completely tap tone tune, inside and out. The same piece of music is being performed. See if you have a preference:
